New Scenic Pearl to join sister ships in 2011
Toronto, Ont. (November 5, 2009) The Scenic Pearl, currently being constructed, will add even more choice for river cruisers come the Spring of 2011 when she joins sister ships the Scenic Emerald, Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire. The Pearl is being built at the reputable Den Breejen Shipyard at Hardinxveld near Rotterdam in Holland as were her stunning sisters the Scenic Diamond and Sapphire.
The growing popularity of river cruising in North America, whether with repeat cruisers or those trying it for the first time, has propelled Scenic to place the order for their fifth vessel to keep up with demand. More diverse routes and shorter itinerary lengths will be added to Scenic’s schedule with the launch of the new vessel.
