Australian Glen Moroney founded Scenic Tours over 20 years ago. In the early days, the company specialized in offering coach trips to the Australian coast for residents of Melbourne.
He later grew that domestic business to include theatre and special events such as Expo '88 in Brisbane.
In the late '90s, he realized that Scenic had developed such a reputation for quality service that clients would travel further afield with them. Hence the expansion to Norfolk Island in the South Pacific, Canada and the USA, Southern Africa and China.
The company continues to grow each year, with now a total of 128 itineraries in 49 countries. Last year, over 30,000 discerning travelers from around the world chose a Scenic Tour.
Today, privately-owned Scenic is one of the largest and most successful tour operators in Australia. Glen Moroney, Managing Director, is now in charge of over 250 staff including over 100 professional tour crew to assist our clients when they are on their Scenic Tour.
Scenic now has offices in Australia, England, and Canada, and our Australia and New Zealand programs are sold through such well-known tour operators as Pleasant Holidays and Sunspots in the U.S., and Goway in Canada.
